Does anyone know why his record is 9and4, was he injured most the season? Was it a fluke that he beat Zimmerman

No one seems to know much about him. He wrestled at Circle and said his record was 6-3. By the time he went to regionals, his record was 9-3, but he lost once at Circle and injury defaulted in the consolations. I watched him wrestle on Saturday at Chase County, if you could call it that. He does not wrestle. He locks up and backs out. He shouldn't have gotten past any of the guys he did. The other guys should have been more aggressive, but for some reason were not. I have watched Zimmerman for four years. I think the knee is an issue with him. He has a hard time shooting.

I think that the record is for 215 only. I know i watched him wrestle 189 earlier in the season and he also beat Zimmerman at Fredonia so this was the second time he has defeated him.

STALLER...that is how you describe tom john, all he does is back out and work the edge of the mat it was the worst officiating i have ever seen he won two matches taht he didnt deserve to win he isn't even a good staller, it is so obvious...although i have this opinion, i cna't take everything away form him he still had to wrestle a little bit to get his wins but they still weren't deserving at all, and when he gets to state and wrestles the likes of horinek it will show taht he isn't a good wrestler, he is jsut a bad staller

good wrestlers are not born they are created by hard work and dedication

patwrestler, I agree with everything you said, including the fact he does deserve just a tiny bit of credit. He did win, afterall. I watched him wrestle Galvan and felt Galvan got the shaft.

patwrestler, I would disagree with you on the number of matches he won. He did not deserve to win any of them. He beat Galvan in overtime on what looked to be a move out of bounds, he beat Puetz of GP and Zimmerman by using the tactics you described.
