Ok, at 160, nobody was even really close. Butters, Sark Mith Saybon, Whatever, dosouth, big knee pads #3&4, ybsmall, and 4 life wrestling, thanks for trying but none of you had Chris Pursel from Effingham even in the finals. And Kyle_Dub #2, let ME fill in fanatic's blank-Campbell got beat by Pursel in the quarters. Then in the semi's Pursel wrestled a great match against Sprigg from Norton, who quite a few of you had winning it. In the finals Pursel major decisioned Gawith. Guess this kid had to earn his respect.WellDone! Scary thought: Pursel is only a sopomore-dominating at 160.

Good for you, but I don't know why you're talking smack when even you admit that Norton beat your beloved Effingham. You were saying Effingham was gonna beat Norton for awhile, so don't act like you were predicting this the entire season.

Giving credit to Hoxie and Norton... They were good, but they had absolutely no one who made the top 6 in 189 and Swade41 can talk all the smack he wants... he has the right.... Nearly all the predictions about the 189 class from Butters, sark mith saybon, whatever, do south, Kylel_Dub#2 and BigKnee Pds #3 were pure foolishness... Did any of you research the wrestling wins and losses for Lyons and from what classes ie 4A, 5A, 6A..... did you?. I suggest that for future predictions you do some research .... LYONS WON !!!! and we told you so all along!!!!

Bask in the glory Lyonsfan, winning a championship is awesome. If people could predict the winner everytime then there would be no need for a tournament.

Thank you we will....predictions are generally based on sound research... hopefully you will understand that concept. I think its great when kids make their predictions but they also need to be able to back up what they predict. As for tournaments, someone will always need to prove a point of contention...

Swade41, you claim that you said hoxie-norton-acchs since november, but in an earlier post in this same topic, you specifically state third is wide open. Is wide open some eastern Ks nickname for acchs that I don't know about? If so, please set me straight.

Yes i did say third was wide open!!! Because unlike most people on here I understand how things go and try not to put foot in mouth, I thought there was a possibility of Oakley, or Oberlin, or even St. Francis to be in there for third. I'm not trying to make you feel stupid, or look like you don't much. We can let everyone else on here decide that. This is a forum for people to make predictions and have fun.
