i would have to agree on the weight cutting situation because i had to drop from 140 to 119 this year and it was a bit**. dont get me wrong practice does suck also. and for the colflower ear ive never had it so i wouldnt no.

The worst for me was cutting weight. Especially the day before a dual when my tongue would stick to the top of my mouth. You couple that with practice and that really sucks.

I would say seeing fatties in singlets is by far the worst part of wrestling.

And as for cauliflower ear: wear headgear and you don't get it.

Well even if you wear head gear you can still get cauliflower. My cousin always wore head gear and didn't get cauliflower until his senior year, he is now wrestling in college and is dealing with it. he had his ear stiched up and drained!!

the worst part about wrestling is how dry your mouth is the night b4 and in the morning. Trying to sleep the night b4 is hell too

If you look at it in the right respect (which it deserves) it is all great. Weight cutting teaches discipline. Culliflower ear is a sure sign that you are a wrestler. Practice, makes you better, and getting better is always good. It feels awesome when you win. It sucks when you loose, but if you love the sport, you work hard to not loose again. Wrestling is a gift given to us. It is fun and the most natural sport in the world. What is better than two Men/women grappling it out to see who the tougher individual is on that night!

You know I love wrestling but there are two or things I love more than wrestling to be real honest with you lol. But wrestling is very good.

i agree that wrestling can make you become a better person with the discipline of practice, cutting weight, and learning to win and loose. i really do not think there is any thing bad about wrestling, not even having cauliflour ears. i think the chicks dig them. unlike cankles or receeding hair lines.

trying to sleep the night before weigh ins is just cruel and unusual punishment. I get at most 3-4 hrs of sleep that night. If i could get a good nights sleep, weight cutting wouldnt be so bad.

The worst part about wrestling is losing in overtime to someone that only tied you because you got called for an illegal move and then getting like 5th at regionals. I do belive that that is the worst thing about wrestling. (this year anyways) Im sorry, this might sound ignorant but where is Anderson County?

being a senior and not making it out to state and getting beat by some one you know you coulda and shoulda beat on the backside. that really sucks.

Being from Wellsville Ray you should know what it feels like to see a sr go down with an injury that would have possibly placed at state, and that affected the whole team.

Anderson county is like 30 min south of ottawa, brown dont take things so serious, its all in fun.

I don't think anything is bad about wrestling, cauliflower ear can be cool unless you let it get out of hand and your ears get so big and fat you have trouble walking through doorways and they start looking like a .10 cent whore has been munching on them, and as for receding hair they just let to many GUYS rub the to of there hair.
