Like I stated this is just an idea of how to promote healthier wrestlers. I wish all coaches had the belief that you say you have in promoting healthy weight loss but unfortunately they don't. I have seen many wrestlers, LFS ones included, put on numerous layers of sweats and start running in order to make weight again for the second day of a 2 day tournament. If wrestlers are having to drop 6-8 pounds in a short period of time, it is not healthy. There have been too many instances where wrestlers have dropped due to extreme, rapid weight loss. I would just like to see a method in place to help curb this.
