ponderosa is awesome at 171 and really strong from 189 to 215, but I believe that Hoxie could really make it a close deal . Gilliland, Schippers bros. Farber, and the shuemberger ( Probably misspelled) brothers are very good and Ponderosa is not overpowereing at those weights. If Hoxie wins those matches, and the Cambell match at 160, THen the animals at the heavier weights can pin, pin pin and the team still gets beat. Key matches are Gilliand at 125, shippers at 140, cambell at 160, and the heavyweight match. Keep in mind that Ponderosa was not unbeatable in most weights, just good. Hoxie is the same way. when you look at the victory margin at Garden city tournament, and the way Hoxie beat Garden city in the Colby dual tournament, You have to think that Ponderosa would not just walk away with a dual with Hoxie.
Then think about the fact that Ponderosa has about a thousand male students to draw their 14 guys from, and Hoxie has maybe 70 male students, the question of which coach has done the best job with what he has had to work with needs not even be asked.
