Kind of hard to determine what a best team is. Is it the number of wrestlers going to state? Some become critical here of the fact that a lot of clubs have a lot of kids so they can therefore send more kids. I challenge that there are usually reasons there are a lot of kids and the club has to be doing something right for this to occur. Some say it is the number of kids that place at state. At that point are there clubs where kids have been developed someplace else? Others say it is the club that has kids wrestle longer, in other words provides an environment where they don't burn out after a couple of years, (another possible reason for club growth.) There are clubs that all fit into each of these categories, all good. Some like TOHK are awesome in smaller kids, others like Brawlers seem to do great at middle divisions and a lot of champions, yet Salina and Abilene seem to do a great job at developing kids and their skills. Then the club I am with keeps getting bigger all of the time, this year we had around 100 kids in the room between Novice and Advanced. We are sending around 26 kids to state, I know because tonight I loose my hair because of a challenge (unless the kids have mercy on me and give a little or lot of grace which I am personally praying for).

I would encourage parents to research clubs and show loyalty when possible. Show loyalty to their community of which they will be wrestling through high school if possible. As for which is the best club in the state, I also know you could mention any of the clubs mentioned and many others like Maize, Paola, and others who continue to produce champions and grow year after year.
