last years finals in 3-2-1a 130lb weight class, travis martin and nick johnson, martin had beat johnson about 3 or 4 times earlier in tha year..bad..and then state came up and martin got a big head and ended up loosing by a point or two...that kinda stood out for me, cuz i looked up to martin

Doug yes I am happy I was afraid you were lost in the wilderness my friend. Good Luck in the regionals sounds like you have a pretty good team out there again.

I don't think it was Martin's "big head" it was more like Johnson staying out of that nasty wizzad Martin used on him earlier that year and keeping that relentless pace to ware Martin down. Martin put Johnson on his back with that a couple times earlier, but Johnson kept Martin from scoring with it in the finals when Martin tried to use it. That was a great match. That's just my opinion though.

I thought another big 321A upset was a couple years ago when Blake Pilkington of Oakley beat Kevin Hadley of Phillipsburg in an incredible match. Hadley was unbeaten and ranked nationally and had soundly defeated Pilkington in the finals of the Hays Prairie Senior Classic.
