I've been informed that the Atchison Open Tournament is full. Additional entries will not be accepted.

They are still accept entries for the novice/girl tourney on Sunday. Entries for this tournament will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Entires should be sent to eliasfamily@journey.com.

I was just wondering about how many wrestlers are registered to go to the Atchison open tournement since it says that it's full, so if any one can tell me I'd be great.

WE HAVE 540 KIDS SIGNED UP AND PEOPLE JUST KEEP CALLING AFTER WE CLOSED ENTRIES WHAT DOES EVERYONE ELSE DO ABOUT THIS PROBLEM???? WE WOULD LIKE TO SEE EVERYONE THAT WANTS TO WRESTLE SIGN UP BUT THEN WE HAVE THE PROBLEM OF EVERYONE COMPLAING ABOUT BEING THERE TO LONG.

It would be alot easier to cut off entires, if clubs that have already sent in wrestlers, would quit calling and emailing add ons.
This is what gets us into trouble, yet the ones who add on are the ones who complain because things weren't to there liking.
I can't say I was happy about how long our tournament went last year, but that didn't stop me from being the coordinator for this years tourney either. We all had a long day, but hey, when do we tell clubs that have 15 kids in already, that they can't send 1 here and 2 more there?
Anyway, we have worked hard at making our club a good, strong club and as other wrestling officials and parents know, it comes with lots of joy and tears. So please, don't start bashing us and bringing up the past until after the weekend is over. Let us show you that we do run and excellent tournament.
And in the mean time, NO MORE ENTRIES, regardless of how many wrestlers you have already sent in. I don't want to hurt the kids, but enough is enough.

THIS IS ARR WIFE, I'D LIKE TO START OFF BY SAYING YES IT IS A LONG WEEKEND FOR ALL ENVOLVED AND WE APPRECIATE ALL THAT SHOW UP FOR THE EVENT, I KNOW HOW LONG THE WEEKEND CAN BE CAUSE I'M ONE OF THE PEOPLE THAT GET UP AT 4;00AM TO START FEEDING ALL OF YOU THAT TRAVEL TO OUR AREA AND WHEN THE WEEKEND WRAPS UP. WE ALL HOPE IT WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE FOR ALL BUT MOST OF ALL FOR THE KIDS. THERE'S ALOT OF TIME AND PLANNING THAT GOES INTO THIS EFFORT FOR US AS WELL AS YOU SO LETS ALL REMEMBER WHO WE'RE DOING IT FOR THE KIDS.
