What teams across Kansas are getting first year coaches. I know there's many. One that's back in Kansas is Clint Freeman, who wrestled for Missouri. Clint's now coaching is alma mater Ellsworth.

Not sure who is the new coach but Spring Hill got a new coach this year after Tom Carbajo retired after 26 years of coaching.

Anyone know where former Coach and Moderator went, Brent Lane? He is coaching/teaching anywhere now?

Caney Valley has a new coach. I can't think of his name off the top of my head, but he was Coffeyville's coach when I was in high school.

Tucker Woofter, lately from Ft Hays, Hays High, by way of Texas and Liberal is the new head coach at Spring Hill. Tom is still heading up the Junior High program.

Did Tucker Woofter wrestle high school in Oberlin? I am pretty sure he was a NWKL guy, but not sure of his high school. If he is the guy I am thinking of- he was pretty darn tough.

He was also pretty good in college stuck behind a 3x all american for I think two years and later was told medical problems, it wouldn't be wise to compete anymore. He has a real passion for wrestling

Coachtwink- While Tucker was an outstanding wrestler at Hays High, Woofter is a NWKL name as is father is from out here. I believe Tucker has uncles that live in Hoxie and Colby. I believe Jason Woofter of Hoxie, who was a state champ, is his cousin.

Thanks RJW and mamasawn- I knew I recognized the name, just going a little senile in my old age trying to remember who belongs where!
