Am I the only person in thinking that in the above scenarios, that they guy that wrestled less matches should be declared the winner as he probably advanced further in the frontside of the bracket and hasn't met the 5 match criteria?

Also if you got beat heads up and are going for the 3rd place medal on the backside of the bracket, I'd say the guy that won heads up gets the 3rd place medal.

In both cases you can avoid the flip and still award the 4th place points in my opinion.
