This could be a very interesting year for wrestling in Topeka. The hands on favorite should and will be Shawnee Heights. But as some of you have stated Seaman will give Heights a good run for their money. Seaman will have only three seniors on their squad at this time with two of them, McGee and Miller being state placers from last year. The team to watch will be Topeka High. They have a tremendous coach in Beau Vest and if he can get the numbers out for wrestling then they should be vastly improved. As for Washburn Rual, M M not sure how you can relate a Football loss to Wrestling as Rual has always had a good wrestling team. If they could just get a coach to stick around they might start showing some consistency. No matter what it should be a fun and exciting year for Wrestling in the Capitol City.
