I agree with Les---the fat lady hasn't sung yet. As for SFT-- they really had nothing for Garden City and Scott City after a close win over Hoxie at the colby dual tourney, so they aren't exactly at the top of their game either, and when you look at how Norton controlled Scott City the next week, It begins to be evident that
the "Top Dog" title is pretty elusive. Norton, Columbus and Abeline are undefeated in the 4a and down classes, but Abeline really doesn't count since they have not attended a tough tournament yet this season. Hoxie isn't the power that I thought they would be at this point of the season, and Norton is much stronger than I had thought they would be. two strong months to go-- a LOT can happen. At this point, though, Norton looks to have the top-to bottom lineup strength that Hoxie had last year, and that , combined with their ability to get the extra fall points, is going to make them pretty hard to beat. Too bad they won't be at Bobcat in January-- that would settle a lot.
