Not having a lot of finalists but having many that work their way through the back door to earn points on the consolation side would seem to be the definition of a good team.
Manhattan did the same thing in Newton - not a lot of finalists but the team was in for 3rd - 8th in about every other weight.
I'd bet the same type of approach will be what it takes to win the Beloit Tournament. Just too many teams capable of scoring 4 or 5 finalists. And too many more teams that will be able to equalize any one team's success out the front side with one or two great wrestlers of their own. I feel the team champ at Beloit will be the one who scores the most points on the consolation side to compliment their finalists.
