Who has the least losses in four years. I know Ross Taplin has lost 6 times, Danny Grater has lost 7 times, Joe Cornejo has lost 7 times. Does anyone have less than that, what about Josh Baldridge or Tommy Edgmon?

I've only lost like 50 times in my career...don't know if that will help with your stats.

Bo Maynes never lost to a Kansas opponent in his four years. I'm not certain, but I don't think he ever lost a high school match.

Good thread. I know that this might be intended for only this year but some of the older guys have incredible records. I believe Maynes lost a couple of times out of state, not sure about Roberson. Todd Drake was 126-1-1 when wrestlers could still tie. The one loss? Coach Ross of Derby.

Bo Maynes and Zach Roberson never lost a high school match. That is what separated them from the previous outstanding wrestlers in Kansas high school history.

The thing in my opinion that seperates Bo Maynes from the other 4 time state champions is that he was never taken down in a match during high school.

Coach Lane-
was thinking the other day about a south wrestler that I was friends with and knew he had medical problems but haven't heard anything and was hoping you could fill me in
Kelly Meade I believe was his name- a very good wrestler back in the day.

The old days bring me to wrestlers like
Wes Harding- Southeast of Saline David Canfield- Concordia
Not sure what their records ended up being but I would have put my money on either of them

Sorry fellas. Must have gotten my memories mixed up about Maynes. Knew about the takedown achievement. Perhaps I was thinking of Justin Ware of Ark City when I made the comment about out of state losses. Perhaps I'm just getting the old-timer's disease. For the spelling movement, old-timer's is different from Alzheimer's. No spelling error there.

In regards to Kelly Meade from Salina, he passed away several years ago.
