I've always been partial to the Flint Hills ..... but I also enjoy the drive from Newton to Emporia on HWY 50, the stretch from Holton to Tonganoxie on 16, and I-70 west of Salina (just love farmland)..... nice view from Coronado Heights ..... have also enjoyed many of Kansas' man-made lakes ...... those are just off the top of my head ..... so I'd have to say that the best part of Kansas is wherever you happen to be.
