Chewie, I was born in Hiawatha .... and I'm with ya' on the lack of good radio stations in that area ..... I was excited when I first saw Mr. Salyer's post with the state agricultural divisions ..... I thought we were getting back to the original question which asked what part of Kansas was the best! ..... since we have people from all over Kansas on the forum, I thought this would be a good topic for an informative (albeit somewhat subjective) discussion ..... I've always been interested in astronomy and really appreciate the clarity of the night sky in parts of rural Kansas .... also best areas for massive keggers ..... Froemans Field in Harvey county was always a favorite venue for that and there used to be another good spot between Solomon and Abilene that I barely remember.
