Ogre,
On the Stevens post I also mentioned that what ever is troubling him he should get back onto the team for bonding reasons to help him. Junction had pretty much everyone in the dual against Chapman and edged the Irish who forfeited at a few weights!
If you think I'm picking on Junction City I can get a towel for you...bottom line you weren't obviously around last year when I bashed the hell out of Chapman! So for you to say some of your comments is just as dumb for not doing research. As for competing, we might not be the best, but dam...at least we can nearly fill a roster with only around 400 total kids in the high school. Your school has more people in it than my home town.

Ogre,
Aaron is from Chapman and wrestled in the 1990's for the Irish, it was the latter part of them if i am correct, he wrestled for the university of central oklahoma as well if i'm correct there as well, but when you look at class strengths 4A & 321A are harder than 5 & 6A, although i'm not saying they're without good kids, because frankly they aren't, they just don't have the depth of good kids the smaller classes due, just my opinion

Ogre knows who I am...It was Wilcox who wanted to know...I emailed him. I'm not trying to pick on Junction wrestling at least they've had wrestlers win state titles in the last few years unlike Chapman. I ride Chapman harder than anybody. Chapman might not be a wrestling powerhouse, but we are STUDENT athletes and usually get it done in the class. I'd rather have educated wrestlers who can fall back on academics.
I'm still embarrased that I went to a dual this year and a high school kid couldn't figure change out correctly when I bought $2 of stuff and gave him a $10! He grabbed a **** calculator to top it off!

Are you sure it was a high school kid, or was it Nigel? Sorry I couldn't pass that one up.

Rein took first by a convincing fashion which was a bit surprising knowing how tough Keiswetter is. Rein must have really been pumped up for that match!

So Peter Eck was looking good. Dynamite, keep up the good work Pete, He's a throwing fool. He wasn't in my group last year at Fargo but I was fortunate enough to see him throw some beautiful 5's , Just awesome! I heard that there was some controversy over the team scores at the Tournament and Norton actually should of won the tourny. Is this true or did they get this figured out and Clay Center did actually win. Just Curious

Is this true or did they get this figured out and Clay Center did actually win. Just Curious I was around at the end of the tournament and tried to piece it together as well. What many failed to realize is that none of the round robin match scores were counted prior to the final round...then wins were counted for so many points and place points figured out as well.

Aaron is correct in his answer. The program we were using did not calculate round robin points into the team scores. Prior to the last round, we added in the match points if they should have been awarded, BUT NOT the placing points until the bracket was completed. Having two round robin brackets at 189# and 215#, the points did change some at the end.
