Oh so now you dare to be serious? Matt 5-2 over Mike. Still not a major. Why do I say that, Matt would not embarrass an former teammate and son of a fellow Red head. Too much class. He has not forgot his roots... MOKWC forever.

I would like to extend conratulations to Nigel for not telling us that Abilene would beat all of these other teams. It is that which has allowed us to keep this topic light-hearted. Thank you Nigel.

hey chris how do you give hoxie the win at 119 9-3 but not give norton 119 when we only lose to hoxie twice this year and both close (2-3 pts)? our 119 lber cut to 112 for the team when madden was out but you can see was very tough when he was at 119. I'll take 119 and what 2 falls i didnt see any falls

Bingham would beat Brockelman. Trust me. He lost to Farber in a terrible match. What about the falls? Hoxie would probably have one, at 145. But I know that 189 and 215 would have guaranteed falls.

Manhattan does have some pretty supreme fatties throughout history, though.

Actually, I think it's Darker, as in Pamon Darker. Sorry.

I forgot one thing. Jeb could and probably would beat Madden from Norton. Jeb beat the same guy in the finals at Beloit as Madden beat in the state finals, by the same score. I remember Jeb's match very well. He scored 4 points in the first period and was a lazy sack the rest of the time. Assuming Jeb wouldn't be a lazy sack the whole time he wrestled Madden, he would win.

Madden beat Owings 9-7, Jeb beat him 4-2. Jeb beat the crap out of Brockelman or whatever, too. I think that if Jeb wasn't the lazy sack of wrestling trash that he usually is, and wrestles like he did the 2nd day of state, he would beat Madden. Hands down.

You must also take into account that a dual state would most likely happen at the end of the year. Jeb always wrestles like a ma-ohn at the end of the year (see: state tournaments), so that also gives him an edge. He's a total gamer.

Jeb does wrestle well against people that are good. It's the crappy guys he wrestles bad against.

You know, in my last post on this topic I thanked Nigel for not bringing up Abilene. I am shocked to see that someone else did. Boo to you wrestling145. Boo to you.

I don't think you can leave emporia out of this topic, they aren't the strongest team but they dont give up and have a lot of talent.
