You can't pin anybody if you quit. (Or if you got kicked off the team. That counts too.)

VanDeelan would TOTALLY beat everyone he faced...in imaginary shadow matches in his mind.

(Just kidding around of course. Don't want anyone to get testy.)

Good point, but, if I'm wrestling in my mind, why are my matches shadow matches? Can't I at least wrestle people in my imagination?

Van Deelen, you could pin me considering I don't actually wrestle. I think, and I am sure your coach thinks it's amusing to see you talking smack in here, even though you are not on the team anymore.

Nah, our principal is a good guy. I don't know (or care about) the whole story behind what happened to VanDeelen, but it probably had something to do with Krawitz (our principal) feeling tied to the actions of the people on our team (because he is so active in our wrestling program) and he didn't see what happened as acceptable. So he took action. Some may think it was harsh, but our principal isn't a bad guy at all. Remember, Dr.Krawitz was a wrestling official for many years, so when he sees a wrestler do anything like that, he probably feels personally tied to it.

I was just as disappointed as anyone when VanDeelen left because he was a good wrestler and brought a unique personality to the team, but he is more of a baseball player anyways.

What exactly did he do?

And it's for the best- baseball is for suckers anyway. Tennis is the only thing that is anywhere close to wrestling's manliness.
