who are the best freshman at each weight this year state-wide?
103-conner crumbliss or tristian deshazer
112-dylan lloyd
119-tyler baker or tait weatherbee

The St. Thomas Aquinas wrestling community is very proud of Andy Hurla at 130. He placed second at the Blue Valley West Regional and is 20-15 for the year. The only other 130 freshman qualifer that I noticed with a quick look at the brackets was Cody Hazard, Lyons, 321A, 3rd at Lakin, 22-3 for the year. The record would seem to give Hazard the nod at this weight. It would be difficult to determine who faced the tougher competition this year. Maybe they have wrestled each other already this year or maybe the two will meet at Kids State this year. I'm sure the STA coaches are looking forward to Hurla's return for Kid's State. Congratulations, Andy!

Im not for sure of his record but Guy Miller from Scott City came out of one of the toughest regionals (Goodland) I can remember at Heavyweight this is an accomplishment since only 5 freshmen total qualified from the goodland regionals including 103.
