pups4ever--Coffeyville wasn't Abilene, either.

Well, to say I'm upset at the Caney school board and administration right now would be an understatement. I am not a fan of the superintendant or the school boards decision to renew her contract for 3 more years. Excuse me...

*runs outside and curses and screams at top of lungs*

*Ahem* anyway, I really could care less about 3a or 4a, they are making some dumb decisions (cutting Cross Country and JR. HIGH WRESTLING did not garner support from me and the new principal is a dumbarse from what my sister and her friends tell me). That mixed with hiring a wrestling coach who knew nothing about wrestling (and even said he didn't want to coach wrestling, to which they said "if you want a job teaching, you'll coach wrestling!"). He's a great guy and all, but it's just... ARRRGH....

We now return you to your regularly scheduled thread...

Back to the original question:
Our disappointments were our 103, 130, and 275 lbers b/c their 2nd match, most were put up against a "fresh" unwrestled 1st seed, which knocked them down to conso. and risked chance of qualifying. Luckily we're taking 10, but those 3 could have helped a lot too.

the reccords and rankings from those beat out at norton are amazing reguardless of what pups4ever says there are wrestlers
at 140, 145, 152, 160, 189, 215, and 275 that deffinitly had legitimate chances of placing at state had they wrestled at differnt regionls there are juniors and seniors that are not going to state for the first time in their highschool careers thanks to tough regionals

"life isnt fair" is alot accept as a reason for not making it to state when your team attends a regional that is not even close to the toughest regional in your class

2003 4a final state results:
1)Abilene 113.0

2)Columbus 100.0

2)Goodland 100.0

4)Clay Center Comm 89.0

5)Mulvane 76.5

2 out of the top 5 were from the El Dorado regional. Maybe it wasn't the toughest, but it wasn't a creampuff regional like you're making it out to be.

Well put, if you get beat out at regionals you might be just saving yourself from another week of cutting weight.

That's right, Mr. Baker. I haven't heard Igel Nisom complain about anything. Nope. Not one thing.
