I think some of the reason for low participation at 6 year old championship at Ottawa is that it is the day after districts. If older siblings wrestled at districts alot of parents want a day off. Telling a 6 year old they will be wrestling in 8& under may discourage a few from wanting to try the state path Jon Murray Parsons Wrestling Club
