Uhmmm I dont know about you but I think Norton might have more than 2 people to watch out for. I mean you cant place 6th in Newton with 2 weapons.

madden 103 Phanenstiel 112 (spelling?) Roe 119 annon 125 johnson 145 sprig 160
Right now all of these guys are all loking like they could make alot of noise at the state tourney and 5 of them have a verry legit chance winning it however out of those 5 potential wrestlers 3 have incredibly cmpetitive matchups with Hoxie that could go either way

I heard Madden just about got stuck by a JV girl from Kearney last night in Hays My understanding is that he was lucky to scoot out of bounds.

yes it is true he got put on his back by the girl but i would have to say his nerves got the best of him. But all that matters is he pinned her and we got the win, she was by far one of the best girl wrestlers i have seen.
Watch out for weights 103,112,119,125,145,160,275 all should place at state with out a doubt.

sorry bigkneepads #4, i included "buba" in my seccond post. jordon hauserman is doing aight he just won a verry tough set of challenge matches against a rival (who is returning fro injury) that has beaten him out of the spot his first two years, and when norton dueled smith-center the match between him and the smith center sophomore who is ranked third was verry close. and james annon is more than pretty good i pick him to win the state title and his matches are alot a fun to watch

Hausserman is not even close to his brothers ability, his brother is a flat out animal. I heard he is doing very well in college at UNK.
As far as Annon, he is a stud Spillman better look out cuz he wont repeat this year.

His brother is at Kearney and has a .500 +/- record, but has wrestled in some tough open tournaments. He is wrestling at 165 behind fellow Kansas product - and returning All-American - Riley Ross (Colby High School).

Kearney's varsity line-up is loaded with Kansas products - Charbonneau & Abbey @ 125, Keiswetter 133 (lived in Kansas for a while), Pfizenmaier 149, Ross 165 and Curtis Brown 184.

the younger haussermann may be better than you thought as he defeated Austin Kingsbury from Smith Center (ranked #2) 11-8 at the Mid-Continent League Tournament.

Yes my fellow bkp, Hausserman did look pretty good at the 152 weight at mcl which was extremely stacked.

Ithink that madden isnt one of there best kids on the team. From what i saw he is not all that great and shouldnt place this year at state.

Man, if he isnt any good then your wrestler is very poor.
If you are from Russell I recall that he smoked your 103 pounder at the Norton Inv.
I do admit that he has few freshman mistakes but he carries himself very well and acourse I dont see Clay complaining or bragging about his wrestling.
Clay is probably one of the best gentleman wrestlers in the state.

If you're from Russell, why are you talking smack on a kid that smoked your kid. (who at one time was ranked #3) Are you holding a grudge or something? The only way Madden won't place at state is if he breaks a limb before then. He does make some freshman mistakes, but almost all the elite 103 pounders are freshmen, so freshmen mistakes are rampant. Don't hate cuz you can't compete. It's not cool.

ok i'm the 103 from russell and yes he did beat me, but it wasnt an @$$ kicking, it was only a 1-5 decision and yes he's good but not that good. He was really tired after the match when i talked to him in the hall after it. I was ranked #3 until i got beat by the #3 kid in nebraska in what would be our 3A school then i lost to the #2 in nebraska in 6A up there. I've only lost to 2 non ranked kids. Both were bad, i lost to one of them in OT and the other by a point. We'll see how good madden is when i see him again regionals. He is a very composed wrestler so we'll see how he does........

Russell should be banned from talking smack when was the last time they had a state champion. By the way Madden will win it all, he is a stud.
