We do go to a few tournaments with other classes. As a matter of fact, we got to see Abilene at Emporia this year, and they are a great team. We used to have Hugoton and Herrington at our tournament. Buhler is still there. We actually see quite a few other classes. However, I think it is best for our team to compete against as many 6A teams as possible to prepare for State. I don't spend time evaluating college prospects unless it's convenient.

My point was that college coaches would have a much easier time if they could go to 1 state tournament. This is not a point to belabor, but it could help our sport a little bit more. Again, I am not one of those people that bashes other classes. I've coached and/or wrestled in each of them. I'm more about what is good for wrestling than my own personal cause.
