Boy this just goes to show some of the great intelligence that come people can show. First I coach for the Abilene Kids Wrestling Club. And I have been wrestling since the fourth grade which would make this my 12 year. Second I am not in high school anymore yes, but I am very much involved in it and kids wrestling. Yes it does affect me becuase I have to prepare these kids to go into the middle school and high school programs. And of course if you make that statement to me then you will also have to talk to the other 60% of people that post on this forum who are also out of high school. I will say whatever I feel is appropriate at the time and there is nothing you can do about it but complain. And I never said teams did not use the front head lock before Abilene, most teams do not use the style of front head lock Abilene does, nor do they know how to defend it which is why we are so succesful with it. Third your last statement was completly rediculous. Abilene teams are traditional offensive in their wrestling, scoring more takedowns as a team that many other teams in the state and they are taught this way. The front headlock is really used as a defensive move for a very aggressive opponnent. But no decent shots? Well how would you explain how more people on the varisity team score over 50 takedowns in a season, that averages out to about 1 a match. Jason Zey had 146 takedowns in one season, Christian Alt had over 100 in three straight season. and the list goes on, I won't mention myself cuase I get alot of flack for that. You should do a little research before you make stupid comments like that. Oh and if you are so great why don't you either come to Abilene or I'll come to whereever you live and we will see if you can defend the front headlock! I won't use any other move and I'll still beat you with it. Oh thats right you didn't post your real name becuase like so many other cowards that like to post anonymously you didn't have the courtesy. I love a good challenge!
