Milt, I think that is about as close as I seen anyone predict the champions in 4A. Although I am intrigued on how you come up with Framks at 152,Im sure the wieght class is down some, but didnt Franks have a bad week or two? I think maybe Vogelsburg would be a good choice at 171(what a bull) I guess I havent really watched enough HWTs to tell you would be a good choice,I do know that there are quite a few freshman and sophmores out there trying to impress people.
Im excited for state...then we can see how good you predicted!!

I have a couple of questions about the 171 argument.
1. Who have Voglesberg and Weishaar lost to, or have they?
2. Have or do Atchinson, Marysville and Fort Scott ever see each other, and if so what were the outcomes?
3. Do any of the other guys ranked in 4A have a good shot of sneaking in there?
Anyone know the answers to any of these questions?

only one of the three is undefeated. I think it is a great question. Who have they LOST to which tells who is the most consistant. One of them lost to a .500 wrestler. I will let someone else tell you though. Some folks want an opinion but not really an honest one. What they really want is someone to brag on them.

Spill the beans. Who has everyone lost to?
Just another thought. I think that the kid Pratt should think about moving up to 171. He is ranked like 5th at 160lbs this year, but last year he easily beat Lattimer and lost by one point to Vogelsburg last year at State.

RESPONSE AT 171. NO ATCHISON HAS NOT MET UP WITH EITHER OF THE TWO AND I COULDN'T TELL YOU IF THE OTHER TWO HAVE MET. YES WEISHAAR DID LOSE TO A .500 GUY BUT THAT IS THE THING ABOUT THE SPORT ANYONE CAN WIN OR LOSE ON ANY GIVEN DAY. I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO BRING UP THE POINT THAT WEISHAAR DID PIN THE 171 FROM EFFINGHAM WHAT IS HIS NAME? WHAT DID HE DO LAST YEAR? ANYWAYS THAT DOESN'T MATTER. FANATIC YOU WANT ME TO BRAG WELL I AM NOT GOING TO AND HAVEN'T YET. BUT WHAT IS UP WITH VOGELSBURG, HE IS WRESTLING AT 171 RIGHT, BECAUSE IF HE IS THEN ALL THIS WILL BE CLEARED UP IN A COUPLE OF WEEKS. AND YES THERE ARE MANY OTHER KIDS THAT COULD SNEAK IN AND WIN. BUT TO YOU FANATIC AT LEAST I DON'T PUT KIDS DOWN, I GIVE THEM THEIR PROPS BUT I DO BELIEVE WEISHAAR IS IN THE TOP 5 CHOICES AT 171.

I do believe that vogelsberg wrestled at 171 in a dual vs. wamego tuesday. I don't know where all this crap about him wrestling 160 came from. weishaar and vogelsberg will be at the same regional and they will most likely be in the finals, but as everybody knows and god have I seen it on this board enough; anybody can be beaten. so I guess we'll have to wait till regionals in a week or so to see if this match happens.

oh yeah. mr. white I don't know if you know this but what was the name of the kid that weishaar lost too. saying that he was a .500 or sub .500 wrestler doesn't really say much except that. and i would say that based on his record alone that weishaar is in the top 5 at 71 in 4a eventhough I haven't seen him wrestle yet since he wasn't at the lake last saturday.

CHEWIE I DO NOT KNOW THE NAME OF THE KID. I WAS JUST RESPONDING THAT WAY BECAUSE FANATIC BROUGHT IT UP. THE GUY THAT BEAT WEISHAAR DESERVES HIS RESPECT BUT I DO NOT KNOW HIS NAME.

Grater beat Luedke by like 3 or 4 points(im not for sure) you say that Luedke is working his butt off but so is Grater, beating a colorado state-runner up doesnt mean **** in Kansas. i guess we will see in 2 weeks.

You read a lot into things that isn"t there. There is not a single post that indicates that Weishaar won't place in the top FIVE

Did you know that Zouzas took several breaks to vomit during the Grater vs Zouzas match because he had the flu? That is probably why Grater beat Zouzas by so many points. I think Luedke will get Grater at State.

So your saying he couldn't beat Grater because he had the Flu? but he could beat Luedke for third and fourth with the flu? I don't think so. Grater just had a great weekend and beat everyone. If you watch Zouzas he does that all the time when it's getting late in the match and it is close or he is behind. Zouzas is a great wrestler and he is not behind very often, he just has a nervous stomach or something. I want to watch Zouzas vs Lien that will be a good match. Then in 4A you have Luedke, McReynolds, Shepard, Bahe, Grater & Terrell it's just whomever has the best weekend.
