Does anyone know the individual results of the Con vs. Clay dual. I'm curious how Kearn vs. Marrs went

Brandon Huber, 112 pounds; Dustin Dooley, 119; and Chris Sutton-Kearn, 189 pounds, posted wins for the Panthers.

Concordia finished the regular season 17-12 overall in duals and 3-2 in the league.

“Overall, we wrestled some close matches against one of the best teams in the state. We will continue to work on improving and putting ourselves in a position to qualify as many wrestlers as possible next week at Chapman for state,” Concordia coach Kevin Brown said.

The Panthers will take part in the 4A regional tournament Feb. 18 at Chapman.

Concordia’s Jordan Tholstrup lost an 11-3 major decision to Nick McGee in the 103-pound class.

The Panthers then won the next two matches.

Dooley needed just 1:27 to pin Nathan Gile.

Clay Center then reeled off eight straight wins.

Jake Hoesli, 125 pounds, lost a 10-4 decision to Chris Bowser.

Concordia’s Eli McKee was pinned by Matt James in the 215-pound class.

The Panthers were open in the 275-pound class.

“This team has a lot of heart and I know they will bounce back in a positive way,” Brown said.

Concordia won three of seven junior varsity matches.

Nathan Sicard, 119 pounds, pinned Luke Young.

Brice Loeffler was pinned by Brandon Komar in the 130-pound class.

Chase Champlin, 135, was pinned by Colby Lund.

I'm just guessing here but it was senior night at Clay and Nic Gunter was a senior.

Rush did not wrestle because his coach had asked him (if it was not a close dual) if he would let Nic Gunter wrestle being as it was senior night. His coach thought it would be a close dual however it was not.

You know, after the seeing what the Clay Center coaches did at the Abilene dual and now letting Nic Gunter wrestle for senior night, I have gained a lot of respect for them (not that I didn't have any before-it just went up a few more notches).
