Quick question for all the kansas wrestling historians.

How many current kansas head coaches have won an individual state title, a team title and then coached a state championship team???

Mike Garcia comes to mind ... throw in a national collegiate title and the list gets really small.

I am not 100% sure on this but I believe Mitch Biems was on a state championship team at Atwood in 89, won a state title in 91 and coached Colby to a state team title in 2001.

Baker was also an all-american and a member of a NJCAA national championship team at Colby Community College. I believe it was the first ever for Coach Lampe. Not sure EXACTLY what Baker placed.
