Interesting topic, for the positive messages a lot out there, I do agree with the need to be careful with language, impressions from music and all. It is good to make your own CD for this purpose. P.O.D. and T-Bone come to mind, P.O.D. for the hard core and T-Bone for the Rap with a street edge. I also enjoy a lot of the oldies like old Aerosmith, Nazareth, Fog Hat etc. A good mix keeps everyone happy, except for extreme country don't know about that, nothing against the music, just don't have the right beats. Even classical for cool downs is okay. With a little work it would be easy to find a good workout selection that drives the workout room. I have finally found a lineup that helps my workouts at the gym and have kept it for several months now without changing it.
