Where is Pack going? Was this a backlash from all the BS there or a new opportunity. I have nothing but respect for both guys and feel that it will be a great situation for Kansas to have Merrick at the helm,

Terry Pack is leaving NCCC because of a terrific offer he received from a school in California. For at least the next couple of years, his job will not include coaching wrestling.

I agree that Merrick Wiles will do a great job in the position.

SO then out of curiosity, what school and what will he be doing, and why only for the first couple of years will he not be coaching wrestling. Is the entire family going?

The entire family has moved prior to the FS/GR Nationals. It is my understanding Terry will be building a new program from the ground up and I beleive will be involved with wrestling again when everything is in place and recruiting is finished. Like many we will miss Terry and his family. It is reassuring that Merrick will be coaching and keeping the program at NCCC rolling. I beleive he is an excellent choice for the position. Dan

Anyone know the school he is going to. I just returned from Cali this past year,,would love to refer some of my kids from out there to Terry.
