I have started a club team at LeTourneau Univ. (Longview,TX) that is in the same conference and national organization as K-State. I was wondering why doesn't the wrestling community in our state promote this more. I'm not bitter, but I wish that people in Kansas could be encouraging to the NCWA. I know not many people know about it , but I think it could be an alternative to the wrestlers who never get a chance to prove their abilities.

In my case I was behind Christian Alt and competed in practice with Dustin Tovar in high school. I placed well in varsity tourneys when I got the chance. I know that I am not the only wrestler that was depressed with the end of a hard fought wrestling career that only has stories to show for their work. I think it would be cool if the state got behind and encourage the growth of teams in Kansas and abroad.
