The Edison's are going to the trials, not the college this time.

I wish I could go but money is tight since I am substituting this year. I will try to go next year after I get all my tasks done. Oh what fun that is......
On the Akin deal, If he has medical documents stating that he could not continue at Nationals he can petition into the trials. I looked on themat.com and it told about the stipulations.

Petitions into the Final Olympic Trials tournament will be limited to former World or Olympic Team members who were ill or injured and unable to compete or complete the National Championships. The injury or illness must be certified in writing by a medical doctor approved by USA Wrestling. USAW approval of medical doctor will not be unreasonably withheld.
Here is what it said.......Hope they did what they needed to do. It just wouldn't be an Olympic trials without Eric.

Absolutely, I've seen him compete in the last five. And, there is no backing out now, I just mailed off money for this years event. Anyone else going? Need a ride?

Hello, just thought I'd help out with some info-- Eric is qualified and training hard for the Trials, he's currently on his way to Colorado for a couple days. I know he has always appreciated all the support he gets from the whole state of Kansas, you have all been so awesome to him over the years. I know he'll be back to Kansas someday soon. Hope a lot of you can make it to Indy to support Eric and Zach! Thanks Again!
