Okay - but before I make any proposal let's work out the details. First, currently when the tean championship is added up it is done by simply giving points to the placers (14 to 1st, 10 to 2nd, etc.. by high school rules). No one adds up points for wins, tech falls, pins and etc... like they would do in a typical high school tournament. Would you want to continue like this? If not it would take a lot of work to score and there would probably be more resistance. Secondly, would you count team size based on USA cards issued (which would count the 6 & under even though they don't go to state and also kids who signed up and then dropped out) or would you count team size based upon total entries at sub-districts. Total number of entries at sub-districts seems a good way to me because you wouldn't be counting kids who dropped out nor would you be counting 6 & under unless they were entered at sub-districts. Someone would have to be designated to decide which club goes into which classification as it would change each year. What other issues am I forgetting?
