Mamie wrestled yesterday at the JOCO Classic at 189. He dominated most of the day but his semi-final match with Matt Baker (SM East) was extremely close. It was tied until Mamie got the takedown with 10 seconds to go.
I hope I'm not letting the facts get in the way of a good story Chief, but Mamie pinned Baker. Baker wrestled great and made Mamie work hard, but Baker got pinned in the third period. Mamie, Millstead, and Scott, all three from STA pinned every opponent at the Classic.
