Bridgeford is in a class of his own. He dominated Caldwell
Caldwell beat Tanenbaum
Tanenbaum beat Graham
Graham beat Bowen

In the state of KS 125 6A dominates-
Graham is a good wrestler but would have never placed in the top 3 of states at 6A the past two years (Livengood, Altman, Perez-last yr and Perez, Shumate and Tanenbaum the year before)

4A would not be able to compete with 5A as Bowen was dominated in both his losses and did not even face Caldwell or Bridgeford

Has a wrestler ever went against the #1 kid in 4A,5A and 6A in the same tournament as Tanenbaum did at Derby?
How will Caldwell respond to his loss? Tune in....

I have known Tyler since he was five (5) and I can assure you he will respond with many, many more victories.

Trisom is an outstanding kid who has risen to the occassion. I do not mean to take anything away from this great wrestler. It would be nice to have a grand state to answer some of these questions. Take a kid like Nick Shumate, a multiple All-American who never won state because of the immensely tough brackets. Trisom has accomplished what many never will. He has been fortunate not to have had to be in loaded brackets at state-he likely would not have been in the top 3 at state the past two years at his weight class in 6A. This is not a slam on Trisom but a tribute to Ely,Livengood, Perez,Shumate etc. He will have many more wins and represent Kansas well and is a fine kid.

What I learned long ago is anyone can and will get beat.Records, rankings, results from prior bouts with the same oponent, all give insight as to what MIGHT happen in the future.Things change,as a wrestler you better be looking to improve daily because somebody else is.As to Tyler I would guess past loses are what drives him to work to become the wrestler he is today(payback is a great motavator). If loosing didn't suck so much, winning wouldn't feel soo good.I wasn't there but if he was dominated that will make winning the next time that much sweeter.I feel sure he will use that in the practice room.(or maybe he'll crawl into a cave never to be heard from again)probably not

With faith you can move mountains. Bridgeford had absolutely no doubt that he was going to win. He told my son that he was weighing 123. Sounds insane, but he did look smaller!!
