I will break my silence. There has been a change in the leadership of District 1. With that change there will be snafus.

When I took over the District from the great Bill Stanhope we didn't have the "internet addicts" (which I am one) who were looking for information, sometimes before it should be reasonably expected. Back then, I had a few days to check and double check data. The first that many saw this information was Friday nights at weigh-ins. In fact, is that not what we do at every other tournament of the year?

Over the years we have this great tool (the internet) that has cost us our patience. No where does it say that our information must or should be posted until Saturday morning before wrestling.

Your elected district leadership knows you are all eager to receive this information. They are trying to get it posted for you. However, be mindful that they do have other duties that might be more important, than providing you the results or in posting the matchups of Districts!

Sometimes, I yearn for the "good old days" of four years ago. When no one knew until District or State weekend, who you would be facing!

Before I get to wound up about this, I will leave you with this. "Patience is a virtue" and many of us adults, could use a big helping of virtue.

Are you making a POSITIVE difference in the life of kids?
