125 I know that Ty Caldwell is going to win it but I think that Walker from STA and Hardman from Free State should place there as well. Any other thoughts on 125?

thoughts on 125:
last year in the 112 final hansen and caldwell had a tough match that ended with caldwell winning by pin. it was like 3-2 or something when hansen got suck though. i'd like to see hansen bump up to 125 for this tournament to see if we could get another tough final between those 2 kids. i realize it wont happen, but i'd enjoy it.

Ian Seaton from Bonner Springs will place at 125 above Walker and Hardman. I have to hand it to Walker though, wrestling a lot tougher with Joey Lutz (SME) at the Bobcat. Lutz had beat him pretty bad at JOCO. Lutz beat Kozlowski and Zahm to take 3rd and only beat Walker by one.

I too would love to see a Hansen vs. Caldwell rematch. If I were Paulie I would bump up for a chance at revenge! Nothing to lose Both are great wrestlers!

A Mamie/Evans match up would be a very good match.

mamie/evans would be worth watching. i'd pick evans, but the more i think about it the less sure i am. this match would definitly be worth the money.
sidenote: 135 is a wicked bracket already. lets remember olathe north used to wrestle this tournament. how sweet would this bracket be if you included almaguer? no real point to that comment, just more wishful thinking.

I'm 96% sure we would see more of the same, ESPECIALLY after Tyler's heartbreak in Derby. Probably not a good time to mess with him!

It is unfortunate for Goddard that Fisher and Beard are unable to participate.
Aquinas ran into some illness and injury problems too this week with three wrestlers out of this tournament. Aquinas is wrestling open in 103, 119 and 125 with Jim Bryant, Connor McCarthy and Jake Walker all out this week. These three all placed 2nd at Maize and have all scored well at tournaments this year.
When we left after my son's heavyweight match, I believe the score was very close with Goddard at 105 and Aquinas at 104.5. Aquinas did have 10 of their 11 wrestlers still on the frontside going into the semifinal round this morning. I am not sure how many are still on the frontside for Goddard.
Aquinas wrestlers still in tournament:
112 Joe Rausch - has won his first wrestleback match
The following Aquinas wrestlers are in the semifinals:
130 Bo Noles 135 Phillip Henes 140 Skylar Scott 145 Mark Millstead 152 Scott Markey 160 Paul Markey 171 RJ Nill 189 Jed Mamie 215 Mike Hammer 285 Jacob Nowak
I do not really know how the other teams or individuals fared. I did not hear of any upsets.

You know for as big of a tournament as this is it would be nice if they could get it on the internet. I know this can be a hassle for the tournament director but it is nice to have.
