Mr. Furches....I'm not suggesting Steven wrestle in college instead of playing football. I just think it's a shame that he can't wrestle these last couple weeks. Again, selfishly I wanted to see Foster in a stacked 285 3-2-1A weight class.
Playing Division I football is an absolute dream. If given the choice between football and the much less glamorous wrestling, I'd play football, too (even at KU!). I wish Steven the best of luck in the future, but it's disappointing his wrestling career has ended early.
I understand and didn't take any offense at your comment. I as well wish Stephen would wrestle, I have bragged on him all year and as Barry mentioned, he is one heck of a young man. The intent of my post is wishing more for wrestling where we would have a chance to compete with, say football, a sport I also love, but I know that at least for now, that is just dreaming. Neither can I blame him or other kids in the future I am sure this will effect, even possible 4Xers.
