Steven took some good natured ribbing after the match ended and it was funny but I take full responsibility for his actions as I told him to run. He mis-understood my intentions. With less than 10 seconds remaining, no stall warnings and a 1-0 lead, I yelled "now we run" with the intent that he would stay completely away and move around the circle. Steven is extremely coachable and did exactly what I told him to do!
