whoes the best at 14U 175!

8th grade wise i would have to say Lorson and Disney, they had a great finals match at Salina,Lorson won that. Disney won Liberty. high schoolers coming in,,Jed Mamie, a state placer as a freshman at STA is a class kid and has to be a top seed in his sub. there are also a tier of good 8th grade age group kids like Mey, Deere, skylar moore who may not be medalists but are good solid kids who have had some success.

Any one in districts 3 or 4 to look out for?

Paul Kilgore should be at this weight.

HEy paul Kilgore is not wrestling kids this year he told me that he was goin to play baseball which that don't hurt me just one more less guy. lol

I have seen kilgore listed on the results page in a few kids tournaments but he was in 185-200 weight class. Any one have solid info on if he is wrestling and if so what weight class because I have not seen him listed below 185.

Paul kilgore i wrestled him for middle school at 180 and he was goin to wresle kids but his mom wants him to do baseball so yea lol and ive wresled him for years and he isnt wreslting kids wrestling and if he is it would be 14U 175!lol grrr my weight classs so if u have n e more Questions ill get back to u. According to the high school post Jed Mamie placed 6th at 160 that means if he goes up in weight for kids state he will not be able to take his win loss record up with him. Subdistricts allow you take your record down but not up that would mean Mamie would be seeded last.

so yea paul kilgore isnt wreslting kids not that thats bad lol!

alright son we have all got that paul kilgore will not be wrestling and hes in your weight class. grrrr no one cares.

go ahead and throw out Mamies record, nothing against your boy, he is a nice kid, if it is who i think? Mamie is a proven multiple medalist, had a great high school year and frankly will spanky your kcrebel hanky

Kanwrman I didn"t mean anything personal against Mamie I was just stating the facts. If you change the rules for one you must change the rules for all. It makes no difference to us why Mamie wants to jump up so far in weight maybe he is tired of watching his weight or maybe just because 14U 175 is going to be a tougher bracket. WE wrestle anyone and everyone the same that steps on the mat.

Mamie had one of the best kids in the state ahead of him on his high school team, i am sure that he just wants to eat a bit is all. I think your seeding point will be moot in the sub district meeting--just trying to prepare you for the feedback that you will be taking on,,

Can't we just get along. Anywhere Jed Mamie goes, either in 165 or 175 he deserves a 1st place seed. I know you got your trusty rule books,but they don't say who is the best wreslter. The favorites to win state at 14 under 175 is Jed Mamie and Atticus disney, that TJ Lorson kid is horrible...............cya in districts Jed.
