Team Kansas made a powerful statement at the 2025 Elementary Freestyle & Greco National Duals, held June 7–9 at the Union Bank & Trust Sports Complex in Elkhorn, Nebraska. Competing against top youth programs from across the country, both the boys’ and girls’ squads showcased grit, skill, and Kansas pride in one of the most competitive dual events of the season.
The boys’ teams were split into two rosters—Boys 1 and Boys 2—and delivered standout performances in both Greco-Roman and Freestyle. Boys 1 earned a hard-fought 2nd place finish in Greco and took 3rd in the Gold bracket for Freestyle, while Boys 2 placed 7th in Greco and 3rd in the Bronze bracket for Freestyle.
On the women’s side, Team Kansas continued to build momentum for girls’ wrestling in the state. The Kansas girls secured a 3rd place finish in Greco-Roman and 4th in Freestyle, competing with poise and determination against powerhouse programs. The team’s overall performance reflected the growing depth and talent in Kansas’ youth girls division.
