Each year, USA Wrestling brings together top competitors from across the nation for the Team National Duals, a premier set of events showcasing young talent and fierce competition. Hosted at various locations, these duals provide athletes a high-level platform to test their skills, represent their states, and gain invaluable experience against the best in their age groups.
From intense matchups to team camaraderie, these events serve as proving grounds for the next generation of wrestlers, forging resilience, strategy, and excellence on the mat. While battling in national duals, every athlete who steps into competition pushes the boundaries of their potential.
Team Kansas takes pride in fielding a strong and determined lineup, ready to take on the challenge and leave a lasting mark on the national wrestling scene.

Every summer, the nation's best wrestlers converge at Fargo Nationals, officially known as the USA Wrestling Junior & 16U National Championships. Held in Fargo, North Dakota, this prestigious tournament is widely regarded as the ultimate proving ground for high school wrestlers, showcasing elite competition in both Freestyle and Greco-Roman disciplines.
With hundreds of athletes battling for national titles, Fargo Nationals is more than just a tournament—it's an opportunity for wrestlers to cement their legacy, gain exposure to college recruiters, and test their skills against the best in the country. For Team Kansas, it’s where grit meets ambition, and where our athletes step onto one of the biggest stages in youth wrestling to represent our state with strength, determination, and pride.

Our goal with dual teams is to field the absolute best team[s] we can. To support this we will be using the following criteria to help resolve any weights that have multiple wrestlers interested:
1) Recent Head-to-Head
2) National Placings
3) Regional Placings
4) State Placings
5) Past Dual team experience
6) Wrestle off among participants. Any challenger to an incumbent would wrestle best of 3 series at a location to be decided.
Our goal is to keep the cost low. I do not want ability to pay to be a primary driver of participating. The costs vary depending on the number of interested wrestlers, cost of team entry, cost of camps and gear. The cost of each team will be published with the schedule.
Yes, with the exception of Fargo, you need to sign yourself up for each individual event you are going to. For dual events, the team leaders will register the teams. Please sign up as Team Kansas as your team. This allows the coaches to see who all they need to plan on coaching.
