Team Kansas Women made a bold impression at the 2025 USA Wrestling Women’s National Duals, held June 18–21 at the Grand Park Events Center in Westfield, Indiana. Competing across the 14U, 16U, and Junior divisions, the Kansas squads brought intensity, resilience, and a growing legacy of excellence to one of the nation’s premier all-girls wrestling events.
In Freestyle, the ladies battled through hard-fought duals and emerged with a 10th-place finish—a mark of consistent performance against top-tier competition.
But it was in Greco-Roman where Kansas truly turned heads, coming home with a 6th-place trophy that tells a bigger story. Only five states—Texas, California, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Oklahoma—placed ahead of the Sunflower State. All but Oklahoma dwarf Kansas in population, yet these determined competitors showed they belong with the nation’s best.
Beyond the mat, Team Kansas Women exemplified what makes this sport remarkable—supporting one another, embracing challenges, and representing their state with pride. Their run in Westfield marks another milestone in the rapid rise of girls’ wrestling in Kansas.
With performances like these, the future of women’s wrestling in the Sunflower State is not just promising—it’s electric.
