Age & Weight Groups

Use the following chart to determine what age group you will compete in during the 2025-26 wrestling season. Each division is divided into 24-month groups, based on your age as of August 31 (immediately preceding the current season). The High School Division is available for wrestlers currently attending high school, or middle school if their age does not qualify them for a younger age division. Wrestlers qualifying for two different age divisions may only enter one of those divisions.

6 under: 9/1/2019 – 8/31/2025
8 under: 9/1/2017 – 8/31/2019
10 under: 9/1/2015 – 8/31/2017
12 under: 9/1/2013 – 8/31/2015
14 under: 9/1/2011 – 8/31/2013
High School: Any student enrolled as a freshman or higher in High School
