I was wondering who the hot-shots were at various weights in the 14 & under age group. Who is doing well at 150 lbs?

I wonder if Neil Erisman will come back to kids when high school is finished. He is wrestling 145, ranked no. 2 as a freshman. Possible 14&U, 150?

Chase Abel was the state champ last year at this weight from 12 & under, I think he is still wreslting at this weight too.

I think I saw Chase Abel wrestling 14&U 155 in Salina or somewhere a week before or after that. If they would ever post results, I could check to make sure I'm accurate before I speak.

yes, he is only in 7th grade, and Baldwin doesn't have a junior high program yet either. Does anyone know of any high schoolers that will be coming down to 14 and under also?

At 150 - 12&u Tyler Downs out of Derby is smokin this year. I think he placed at Nationals last year in a very tough field. He has been wrestling the 165lb in school but will be a big force to put up with at 150. Extremely strong kid. He has only lost a few matchs this year and has won every match very impressive by pin. He will be tough!!!

Chase Abel has been wrestling 14 and under 155 recently and I saw him wrestle in Salina and Topeka he lost to Jameon rush in Salina and took second i think. and in Topeka he lost to Randall Nelson and ended up taking 3rd or fourth that tournament, Randall Nelson took 2nd Jameon Rush took first. But back to the main topic who is the best in 14 and under 150? This weekend in Topeka a kid from Illinois won it in 14 and under 150, but that dosent matter because were trying to see who is the best in Kansas, so who are the top 5 competitors at 14 and under 150?

Adam Regier of Liberal will probably be at 150. He is extremely strong and constantly improving; always a state qualifier and at the top of his age group. Should be at wichita.

Ryan Winger has won several tournaments at this weight and lost 10-7 to Able at Johnson County. He's wrestling better each week. He's from the Johnson County Renegades and has wrestled at 150-155 all year.
