I've seen baldridge twice. He looks pretty good to me. He wasn't wrestling no-namers either.

From my perspective about 10 feet away from the mat, Baldridge owned Weatherbee in the match from the get go, sure they traded a few points at the beginning of the match, but Baldridge could escape if Weatherbee did manage to reverse him, which i beleive he only had one in the match, the score was something like 13-5 i believe when Baldridge did stick him, but it was a great match, but to me Baldridge was too much for Tait. That's why he will be a 4 timer when this year is over.

I'm wondering what tournament Mike Holliday attended. It couldn't have been the Hays tournament - or maybe he is just delusional.

I wouldn't say owned..the scoring went back and forth..it was 4-3 in the frist and then 7-4 in the second..with a few desperation attemps by weatherbee, baldridge was able to score a few more takedowns and then eventaully put him on his back when weatherbee was looking to roll through on the chicken wing. Baldridge is a hell of a wrestler and so is weatherbee.. i woudl love to see a rematch with these two. Plus i think bronco wrestler might have a bit of a man crush on Baldridge..you talk about him alot buddy

I have wrestled Weatherbee, and lost 2 times to him this year, and i was just providing insight about the match on a couple topics and mentioned him as one of the best i've seen, nothing meant to show a man crush, just pointing out facts and opinions, i could see where you're comming from though since i have mentioned him a few times, but there's not a man crush there

Baldridge and Cornejo have been wrestling each other their entire wrestling career. They came from the same Jr. league and are good buddies. I have seen Baldridge beat Cornejo and Cornejo beat Baldrige. If you was to tell me that Baldridge or Cornejo were national champs or nationaly ranked in folkstyle (not to take anything away from their national recognition in grecko and freestyle) it would carry a little more weight when speaking of their matches vs folkstyle wrestling apponents.

i think mr holliday was being sarcastic to say the least and for those of you that think josh isnt that good well lets take a look at his high school record. at the end of the hays tourny he has a overall record of 119-5 in high school he beat knox as a freshman for a state title cornejo as a soph and baker as a junior all three are OUTSTANDING wrestlers. And weatherbee as well brian ast from emporia gave josh all he wanted in the first pierod but josh took over from there.give the kid his due.

I've seen Baldridge wrestle and this past weekend drove up to Lexington, NE - watched Dreiling from Scott City... the NE kid literally overhauled him in the finals. There must be a huge difference between 4A & 5A??? Don't know the NE kid, but maybe he's pretty good too? Doesn't matter...just an observation...

Mike you might want to check the results of the 2004 Brute National FOLKSTYLE Wrestling Tournament held in Omaha, Nebraska. I believe Cornejo and Baldridge participated and did quiet well there.

I hope my reply isn't misinterpeted. I have the utmost respect for Cornejo and Baldridge. Seriously I have never seen either one of them loose except when they wrestled each other. Both have parents who are extremely competitive and have sought the best competion. I know them personally. The best match I EVER SAW IN MY LIFE was when those two wrestled each other in a tournament in Salina when they were around 11 or 12. And I have seen my share of wrestling kids thru college. Both are D-1 material and i'm sure both will go D-1. At least I hope.
MIke Church Sr. Thank you KSGRM I will check those results.
