Fort Scott won't beat Clay Center for the team title this year. They are bad muthers.

Having seen them both. I will take the Fort for several reasons. I think the Fort has a better chance of getting 3 in the finals than does Clay. I know Grater, Close and Preuser could, but I think FS will get three. I think Fort Scott will get more kids through the Regional and will also score more first round points from kids who don't place. FS has some advantage coming out of the regional in a better position and probably more kids. I also think there is a good chance they can match CC for number of placers. I am not as sure about that last statement, but they won't have to because of the other factors. Nothing against CC, as you recall I picked them all of last season even before others thought they had a good chance.

I only see the fort getting 2 into the finals. allison and lattimer. lattimer will have a tougher time making it just because 160 is pretty strong this year. I'm not sure about metcalf. I would give taplin one spot in the finals at 152 and the other is up for grabs for there is a bunch of wrestlers with almost the same ability at that weight. maybe buck would have an edge because he has been there before. i can see grater and allison in the finals, pruser and terrel in the finals and close making it also.

If Caldwell steps it up he could be in the finals, and CC has a couple other guys than the ones named that haven't lost a match in 4A. I think CC has the upperhand.

HWT#1- I disagree with your picks for 4A HWT. I don't know alot of the 4A HWT's but I do think that Tony Lewis will place in the top 2, and him being a state champion would not be a suprise to me. :p

I have to agree with chew on this one, I don't see Fort Scott getting three in the finals. I think Nathan will make it for sure and thats it, I only assume the other two you were talking about are Lattimer and Metcalf, they are god but I don't think either will be in the finals although I would like to see it turn out that way! CC has a real good shot at getting three (Close,Purser,Grater)in the finals but I don't think they will win when they get there. Only time will tell!!!

Not sure how they will do at State, but Colby's 275 pounder beat DelToro 7-1 at Beloit. And Ulysses' 275 pounder is pretty tough too.

I wrestled Lewis at the Prarie Classic, and Deibert at league. They are both pretty good, but I think that Lewis is better. I think that Lewis would beat Del Toro. :p :p
