Team Kansas Kicks Things Off With A Bang! At Preseason Nationals

Team Kansas stormed into the 2025 Brian Keck Memorial Preseason Nationals and Boys National Recruiting Showcase with fire and focus, earning dozens of podium finishes across all age groups. From grade school grit to high school heroics, Kansas wrestlers proved they’re ready to dominate the 2025–26 season.

Champions Who Set the Tone

Leading the charge were five standout champions who lit up the mats in Des Moines:

  • Thunder Page (South Central Punisher WC) – Champion at 157 lbs
  • Leolyn Karnowski (Wamego Wrestling Club) – Champion at 155 lbs
  • Grant Lottmann (Greater Heights Wrestling Club) – Champion at 78 lbs
  • Hayden Soloman (Wichita Training Center) – Champion at 77 lbs
  • Thomas Delich (Greater Heights Wrestling Club) – Champion at 62 lbs

These athletes didn’t just win, they dominated, setting the tone for Kansas excellence and inspiring teammates across every division.
